Naturaliste Charters operate year round Dolphin cruises in the protected Koombana Bay, Bunbury, a scenic 2 hour drive south of Perth. Over 100 Bottlenose dolphins frolic, hunt and play across the broad expanse of this sheltered anchorage.
Koombana Bay is also the breeding grounds of the Bottlenose dolphin with many new calves being sighted each year. It makes for spectacular viewing when these fascinating mammals are seen close up in their natural environment.
Naturaliste Charters is also currently undertaking a study of the dolphins in the bay, and can identify several of the mammals individually.
